All About River Town...

So this project started back in the day with a few disscussions with friends, colleagues & family after My return from Ireland, where i had been for a week doing a pop up restaurant with Finnebrogue Artisan, called the Rooftop Garden.
Suffice to say it inspired me beyond belief, using fantastic local produce, including Finnebrogue's amazing Oisin venison in My six course tasting menu, working with My amazing boss Joanna Discombe we took our guests on a journey around the world.

So after a big move from my 20 years at The Peach Tree & Momo-No-Ki to Shropshires Famous coaching inn The Mytton & Mermaid, i felt it was time we did something special, 'The Drawing Room'. and special it was, Kirstie & Myself put our heart & soul in to it & are very much looking forward to the next one.
But in the back of my mind lingered that the one off, off the cuff event, still needed to be addressed,
leading to the Resurrection of the 'River Town Project' again.
Not being a stranger to one off events, ie. festivals, demos, outside events & teaching at both Shrewsbury & Walsall colleges, we finally decided to grab the bull by the balls...
So River Town is reborn, with me as the Owner, Kirstie Lewis as Managing Director, Liam Tinsley as Head Chef, Stuart Carrington as Sous Chef & the fab James Philips as FOH Ops manager.
We shall be announcing dates shortly, we have lots of venues in the pipeline, so if your interested in a nine course taster menu with wine flights in a crazy environment, then the experience we will offer will be just right for you.
